Ibrahim Ahmed is a first-generation Somali-American and a product of the City Heights community of San Diego. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at San Diego State University and shortly after, obtained his master’s in Public Policy and Administration.
Ibrahim has served as a Council Representative and Policy Advisor at the San Diego City Council where he worked closely with constituents to solve issues and also advised the Council President on policy matters. He believes that is extremely important to embrace and give back to the community you come from.
